Abstract:
In this course we revisit classical problems involving hypersurfaces with vanishing Hessian, we present the structure of standard graded Artinian Gorenstein algebras and the notions of higher order Hessians. We show how these Hessians control the Lefschetz properties of the algebra and we link it with the classical theory.
Please note that the CIMPA/ICTP courses will be recorded and broadcasted on our Youtube channel "CIMPA Math" and on carmin.tv.
CIMPA does not provide certificates of attendance for online courses.
This course will be filmed at ICTP (Trieste, France).
