The school will address a selection of topics of importance in modern research in combinatorics, representation theory, higher structures via the prism of geometry, and their interrelation. Specific themes to be covered are geometric representation theory, quantum groups, the use of higher structures to study the geometry of various spaces, categorification, combinatorial aspects of geometry and cluster algebras.

The school aims to bring participants acquainted with the latest advances in K-theory and Operator Algebras. I will consist of 2 parts; a preliminary set of 4 virtual courses, and second part, the school proper, consisting of 8 presential courses on more advanced topics.

El objetivo de la escuela es brindar a los estudiantes un panorama amplio de los tópicos centrales del análisis numérico de ecuaciones en derivadas parciales, transitando un amplio panorama que desarrolla temas clásicos y técnicas avanzadas de elementos finitos y sus aplicaciones. Se dictarán ocho cursos en total, cuatro durante la primera semana (Ciudad de Rosario) y cuatro en la segunda (Ciudad de Buenos Aires).

The CIMPA school on Algebraic Geometric Methods in Information Theory will focus on the applications of algebraic geometry and number theory to coding theory and cryptography, providing a thorough introduction to both the theoretical foundations and practical applications of these mathematical tools in information theory.
