Differential Galois Theory is a subject of great development in the last years, with important ramifications that cover algebra, analysis, geometry, algorithmic or applied mathematics. It represents a useful technique in order to treat a wide range of problems related with differential equations, mainly linear, many of them of application, for instance, in physics.

The aim of this School is to develop both the essentials of Differential Galois Theory, and recent improvements. One of the kind of techniques more interesting in its development is multisummability of solutions of differential equations. One of the courses offered will be given by the founder of this area, Jean-Pierre Ramis. Young researchers in the region will profit of this subject, and we hope to create a Doctoral School, essentially with students coming from the Universidad del Norte and Universidad Sergio Arboleda, but open to the rest of universities in Colombia.
