Riemannian Geometry, pseudo-Riemannian Geometry and Mathematical Physics

Riemannian and pseudo-Riemannian geometry, and differential and algebraic topology, are among the most active research areas in the Maghreb. Maghrebian mathematicians interested in these topics have regrouped themselves under the informal “Groupement pour le développement de la Géométrie et la Topologie au Maghreb”, GGTM.

Proposed courses should provide the participants with an introduction to recent developments in Riemannian and pseudo-Riemannian geometries and their interactions with mathematical physics. On the other hand, this project aims to establish favorable conditions for rich collaborations between mathematicians from America and Europe and African mathematicians.
